Public website
The public SHCSA website does not use advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies simply to let you read public information.
The public site is intended to work without creating advertising profiles or tracking your browsing across unrelated websites.
Essential staff cookies
Restricted staff services can use essential session and security cookies, or equivalent browser storage, for sign-in, authentication, multi-factor verification and access control.
These controls are required to protect publishing and administrative systems. They are not used for advertising.
Public forms
Submitting an enquiry, information request, complaint or consultation response creates an Authority record from the information you provide. The record is held in the relevant administrative service; it is not used as a browser-tracking profile.
Third-party services
Links to another organisation can take you to a separate website or service with its own cookie arrangements. SHCSA does not control the cookies used by an external site merely because the Authority links to it.
Changes to cookie use
If SHCSA introduces a public feature that requires additional cookies or browser storage, this page will be updated to explain the purpose and any choice available to users before or when the feature is used.
